This creative and relaxed workshop is perfect for those looking to build confidence using their own sewing machine while making two beautiful, practical projects—a decorative bunting set and a lined bag. Designed with beginners in mind, this session is all about helping you feel comfortable and capable using your machine. By bringing your own sewing machine along, you’ll learn how to use it properly with guidance and support, making it much easier to continue sewing at home. You’ll work with a selection of fabrics to create pieces that are perfect for home décor, garden gatherings or thoughtful handmade gifts, all while developing essential sewing skills in a friendly and supportive environment. All fabrics and materials are included, so you can focus on learning, creating and enjoying the experience. Important Information You are encouraged to bring your own sewing machine so you can learn on the machine you’ll be using at home. Nikki will support you in understanding how to use it; however, if your machine is not functioning correctly and cannot be resolved quickly, you will be asked to use one of the studio machines so the workshop can continue smoothly for everyone. Cancellation Policy
By paying for your booking you are agreeing to the following terms: Sewing classes, courses, master classes, lessons and workshops terms No refunds or rescheduling: Due to limited enrolment and needing to know numbers in advance to book rooms and prepare materials as well as needing to know whether to go ahead with or to postpone a class, classes are non-refundable; transfers or reschedules are not always available. Please check your diary carefully before you sign up. If a course or class is very undersubscribed it may very occasionally have to be cancelled. The option will be given to transfer the booking to an alternative date or class, or get a refund. Payment is in advance only: I am unable to reserve spaces on courses or in classes without payment. Bring the equipment you need: It is your responsibility to check with me before the end of each class what you need to bring for your next class, email me if you’re not sure. This is so that you can be fully prepared and get the most out of each class.
