A bit about Me .....
I completed BA(Hons) in Costume Construction in 2022 and within that degree I was immersed in all the diverse aspects of costume making. I have had comprehensive training on pattern cutting, I have also had the opportunity to do projects on draping, creative pattern cutting and tailoring. In 2021 as the pandemic eased my course had the opportunity to work with the National Trust for their property in Barking Eastbury Manor; The Eastbury Makers project.
I am proficient in most areas of traditional making and have experience making under pinnings and working with stretch fabrics. I have also worked as a dresser for a drag performer and been on tour across the UK.
I have most recently been working at The Guildhall for Music & Drama in the City of London. I have worked as wardrobe manager on 2 Opera productions and currently I am a costume production assistant working across the costume curriculum; supervising students, teaching sewing, pattern cutting and assisting costume freelance professionals working on the School professional productions.
